Uzbekistan Issues New High Denomination Featuring RAPID®

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has issued a new banknote, the 50,000 Som. The design on the front of the banknote features the top of the Ezgulik Arch on Independence Square in the city of Tashkent.

The primary security feature is the 4 mm RAPID® security thread. Earlier this year, the Central Bank introduced an updated 10,000 Som banknote with a 3 mm RAPID security thread.
