Crane Currency Malta Supports Local Organizations

Malta associates participated in a number of social activities during August and September to support a variety of local organizations:

Fondazzjoni Sebħ was presented with a donation on behalf of the Crane Currency Malta associates. The donation was raised through fundraising events, mainly cake sales, held on site.

Fondazzjoni Sebħ is an NGO committed to social justice and equality. It offers services to children and young people, victims and survivors of domestic violence and families in the community. The organization has been in existence since 1956 and it continues to grow and develop to keep pace with the changing needs of contemporary society.

To spread information of the organization, Id-Dar tal-Providenza annually distributes more than 165,000 pocket diaries to each household on Malta and Gozo. To aid in this effort, over 7,000 of these pocket diaries were assembled by the Malta associates on site during working hours.

Id-Dar tal-Providenza offers residences and community homes for persons with disabilities in a family-like environment which enhances and maximizes their abilities with a view to ensuring their full participation in society. It also offers respite services to families of persons with disabilities, to enable the disabled family member to continue to live within their family.

Crane Currency Malta associates support the Puttinu Cares Foundation for the third consecutive year. Puttinu Cares is a cancer support group that offers a holistic approach to the care for families with children suffering from cancer.

The 15th edition of the Football Marathon organized by the Puttinu Cares Foundation was held between the 13th and 15th of September. The Malta associates raised more than EUR2,000 this year. Some associates also volunteered or participated in the 60-hour football marathon.

A blood donation drive was organized by the Malta site between 27th and 29th September. Shown above is Alessandro Aquilina, Printer, Crane Currency Malta.
